t’s hard to visualize Iris Apfel without her signature, very big, very round glasses. This spring, a similar style will be available for the 90-year-old style icon’s minions: eyebobs, the eyewear company specializing in reading glasses, will release a limited-edition frame inspired by Apfel, dubbed, naturally, the Iris.
Though Apfel merely served as the frame’s inspiration, she has already begun collaborating on designing a full “eyebobs by Iris Apfel” collection which will include readers, sun readers and polarized sunglasses to roll out in 2013. Prices will range from $75 to $99.
