Style Crush : Doina Ciobanu

New York, Paris, London, and Milan: everyone knows that these cities are breeding grounds for the most stylish and on-trend civilians. However, that doesn't mean these chic locales are the only places to find people with editor-level taste! Au contraire, we've spotted girls with serious fashion know-how all over the world, and absolutely adore highlighting them every month in Style Stalker! With that said, to the streets of Moldova for those of you who failed geography, it's a tiny Eastern European country located between Romania and the Ukraine where Doina Ciobanu, 16, creates killer outfits on a daily basis. With a knack for compiling superb ensembles, Ciobanu makes for the perfect stalkee, so I have a strong feeling you'll be intrigued by her sartorial sensibilities!

Check out her blog! I completely fell in love with her chic style

Street style at Paris Fashion Week: My Favorite Looks

The fruit trend shows no signs of stopping - this fashionista comes over all Anna Dello Russo with a crystal-embellished slice of melon on her hairband.

Gone are the days when socks or tights and open-toe shoes were a fashion faux pas - these colour-pop platforms brighten up some black opaques.

A chic take on the humble duffle.

Loud and proud as ever Anna Dello Russo teams her coloured fur stoles with snakeskin thigh-high boots. Over-the-knee boots are very Carine Roitfeld and add a bit of spice to a winter overcoat.

Mixing up a string of styles this show-goer adds a chunky bullet-ridden bangle to a Chanel-esque tweed suit and a classic tan leather satchel.

A splash of spring/summer orange is the first foray into the upcoming season. Take a leaf out of this lady's book and dip a toe in with bright accessories.

Keeping all the primary colours covered, this fashionista goes for red, yellow and blue.

Colour-blocking, the camel coat, a Prada-esque fur stole AND gold Dc.Martens - covetable style statements at every turn.

50s-style headscarves are making a comeback and this lady shows why.

Black coat and chunky heels steer this flouncy white shirtdress away from meringue territory.

Daisy Lowe channels vintage glamour in this monochrome dress.

The Prada spring/summer 2011 monkeys take a trip to Paris Fashion Week.

Fall 2011: Bobbi Brown Tortoise Shell Makeup Collection

That’s right, FALL.  It’s the first day of summer here…humid, rainy summer, and here is the first of the fall collections to hit my desk.  Bobbi Brown’s latest, Tortoise Shell Collection is inspired in part by her own signature tortoise shell frames that she wears daily.  She has great tips for our sisters who wear frames….you don’t have to skip makeup!!  Leave to Bobbi to show you how.  This works with or without glasses!  But the shades are softer…more refined.  Bobbi’s fall shades always get me thinking about cozy sweaters and boots in the middle of July!!!

Bold glasses are as much a fashion staple as they are a personal statement. Now revered as a stylish accessory, a great pair of frames is a must have (and a great go-to on bad beauty days). Bobbi chooses between her iconic black frames and a pair of tortoise shell frames – ones which served as the inspiration behind her new Tortoise Shell Collection for fall. The Tortoise Shell Collection is Bobbi’s modern take on a classic look. Stunning shadows in shades ranging from bronze to gold to espresso are housed in gorgeous tortoise shell compacts with gold detailing; one is for lighter skin and the other for darker complexions. To balance the warmer tones on the eyes, cheeks and lips are dressed up in soft nudes.  And the good news is that if you do wear glasses, Bobbi designed the collection to complement rather than compete with your frames
Like a great pair of glasses, the Tortoise Shell collection is all about standout eyes. – Bobbi Brown

I say It's really well suited to middle-easterners since the color palettes have a combination of sandy metallic hues, those of course would look terrific on brunettes! I LOVE

Kiehl’s Oil-Free Collection

Summer weather begets breakouts and shiny skin. Happily, Kiehl’s just released a new oil-free collection to guard against clogged pores and skin flare-ups. The range includes a cleanser, toner, daily moisturizer, and concentrated gel cream. The paraben-, silicone-, and fragrance-free products go a step beyond their drugstore counterparts, packed with natural ingredients like lemon extract, imperata cylindrica root extract, cucumber extract, and vitamin E to soothe sweat-clogged skin and tamp down excess oil so you won’t have to keep layering on the powder. Our top picks from the line are the cleanser and lightweight lotion. The former gives skin a squeaky-clean feel but without a tight or flaky effect and the latter keeps skin sufficiently moisturized without melting off your face.
Ultra Facial Oil-Free Collection, $16 to $24.50 each at Kiehl’s or online.

Natalia Vodianova's Fairy Tale

To close out the Fall 2011 couture season, Natalia Vodianova invited a who's who of fashion to her White Fairy Tale Love Ball last night, hosted at Valentino Garavani's Chateau de Wideville estate on the outskirts of Paris. Her goal? To raise money for her Naked Heart Foundation, which has already built 60 playgrounds in 44 Russian cities.
She succeeded in pulling in 2.3 million euros ($3.3 million) from the night, which included a fashion show featuring 45 custom dresses created by Olivier Theyskens, Alexander Wang, Stella McCartney, and every designer in between. Although the night's dress code called for white or silver gowns, Vodianova, for her part, wore a scarlet Little Red Riding Hood-inspired confection by Garavani himself  the first dress he has made since retiring in 2008. “I always wear red to my events,” Vodianova explained.
